If there’s anything that serves as a #firstworldproblem in my life, it’s the struggle to find beautiful, neutral-toned coffee table books that I actually want to read. Amazon is awash with fake books that have just pretty covers and spines, but to me, a book should be just that – a book (ie. pages with words).
And since online pictures don’t always show what a book looks like underneath the dust jacket, I’ve poured through dozens of coffee table books to bring you my top picks here that serve up a good dose of both form and function.

2. Chanel and Her World by Edmonde Charles-Roux
3. Made for Living by Amber Lewis and Cat Chen

4. Still by Natalie Walton

5. Ralph Lauren, In His Own Fashion by Alan Flusser

6. Heirloom Houses, The Architecture of Wade Weissmann by Steven Stolman

7. Modern Luxury by Richard Mishaan

8. Abode, Thoughtful Living With Less by Serena Mitnik-Miller and Mason St. Peter

9. Booze and Vinyl by André Darling and Tenaya Darlington

For an in-depth look at each of these books sans dust jackets, head to my Instagram (@maybeboth) story highlights where you’ll find a mini tour saved under “Book Decor.”
I hope this was helpful! Hope you all had a great Wednesday and happy decorating!
xx,
Anna
“You think your pain and your heartbreak are unprecedented in the history of the world, but then you read. It was books that taught me that the things that tormented me most were the very things that connected me with all the people who were alive, who had ever been alive.” – James Baldwin
