I had all these grand ideas about fun poses for this outfit since it’s the first time I’ve put on shorts in months (just wishing spring into existence over here). But, then, Sawyer had other plans. See above: what happens when your dog upstages your outfit of the day.
In any case, the irony of this #ootd is that I’m currently writing this post during the worst winter storm of the season. But, at least inside, I can pretend like it’s summer with my unseasonably warm look.

I’ve been spending the day doing lots of indoor/warmth-related activities like making slow cooker carnitas tacos (head my IG stories today to see me in action on this recipe!) and am contemplating taking a warm bath later to escape the chill that has sunk deep into my soul (seriously, what is it about frigid winter days where even the heat set to 74ºF doesn’t seem to be warm enough?).
