It is COLD in Connecticut. A high of 28ºF means even our hearty souls are not venturing out to dine al fresco this weekend. We ordered take-out from our favorite Chinese place last night and watched a horrible movie (don’t you hate it when you commit to a two hour movie that sucks?). In case you’re wondering, that movie was Eyes Wide Shut. I know it’s critically acclaimed, but I just couldn’t take the egregious nudity and awfully creepy themes. We’re hoping tonight yields a better viewing experience.
In other news, Sawyer’s butt really stinks. Like, REALLY STINKS ala a fish market. I’m taking her to the vet on Thursday because the smell came in like a wrecking ball a few days ago and I went down a Google rabbit hole, so now I need a professional to diagnose what the heck is going on.

No lie, I saw this double-pom beanie on a child in a stroller the other day, and decided that since I’m an overgrown adult child at heart anyways, I needed one for myself. I paired it with a faux fur coat because now I can finally be the small black bear I’ve always been inside.

SHOP MY LOOK:
Petite Faux Fur Coat
Double Pom Beanie
Oversized Cream Grid Sweater
Over-The-Knee Tan Suede Boots (A very similar dupe is linked here)
Beige Crossbody Bag

We’re getting our second winter storm of the season on Monday, so I’m about to go outside and make sure our snow blower is still functioning in preparation for the powder. I hope you all are having a warmer weekend than we are, and if not, I hope you’re cozied up with someone or something warm not watching a creepy movie.
xx,
Anna
