It feels like life just waits for the week before Christmas to throw everything it can at you. I hope you’re all staying sane in this last push before the holidays. We’re back in Connecticut after a quick weekend trip to Pennsylvania and it is finally above freezing here! The snow is melting (not very quickly judging by the fact that you can’t see my feet in the above photo) and I’m looking forward to not freezing my toes and fingers off on my walk with Sawyer today.
In other news, my favorite blue coat is on sale at Macy’s right now for a steal! It’s by Cole Haan and typically retails for $420.00, though you can get it for $178.50 until 12/22. I can’t tell you how many people comment on this jacket every time I wear it and it’s perfect for an above-freezing winter day to keep you warm, but not hot. It’s also a great dress coat for those times you put on something other than sweatpants.
My boots are waterproof and a far cry from the oversized plastic wellies I used to sport around in the snow and rain. They look like a chic pair of leather boots but keep my feet completely dry. While the ones I’m wearing are no longer in stock at Cole Haan, they have a very similar version on sale right now that I’ll link below.
My lip color is from 100% Pure and is my favorite lipstick to have in multiple shades. It’s non-toxic formula is matte while also hydrating, and the Agave color I’m wearing feels like a modern-day throwback to the frosted lip trend of the 90s.

It does not escape me for one moment how blessed we are to live the life we do and above all, to have our health and those we love the most. So, while I’m freaking out about how Amazon hasn’t delivered my last minute Christmas gifts, I’m reminding myself that it’s a blessing to have the problems I have.
