Sometimes you have to get messy before you get clean. This felt like my mantra this week because I decided it was a genius idea to have Sawyer spayed, our leaking windows and main sewer line replaced, and our leaking tub fixed all at once. Chaotic would be an understatement, but we’ve come through the other side. Even though it’s been a total pain in the a** dealing with our homeownership woes, it’s taught me a lot about patience. I’ve learned that everything happens when it’s supposed to happen, even if it’s not as quickly as I’d like it to be. We wouldn’t have found the all-star team of contractors we had on our major projects had I rushed the process and hired the first crew I could find, and ultimately, I’m glad we at least got settled into our house for a few months before we had to stomach dealing with all the repairs.
Dave has been really busy at work lately, and I’ve been trying to catch up on blogging and everything that had to be put on hold this week, so we’re thinking about taking a little staycation soon once the dust settles. Dave made us a reservation for an al fresco steak dinner at Benjamin’s last night and it was such a nice treat at the end of the longest week ever – I’m a lucky gal to have a partner-in-crime like him.
In the meantime, if you missed my collaboration with Coop Home Goods earlier this week, head on over to Insta see my review of their Original Pillow. So excited about this partnership and from now until 3/10/21, you can snag one of their pillows for 10% off with my discount code MAYBEBOTH10.
And last, but certainly not least, my weekly outfit roundup, a day late, but still better than a day…never?

Hope you’re all enjoying your weekend so far. We just got a SodaStream Fizzi OneTouch, so if you need me, I’ll be over here making all the liquids fizzy (does it work with tequila? Guess there’s only one way to find out).
xx,
Anna
